Diane moved to Taos from Dallas in 1972 after falling in love with Taos during the 1960s. She ran The Suite Retreat Bed and Breakfast for 10 years. For the last 20 years, she has worked as a licensed real estate broker. She is an Associate Broker for Prudential Taos Real Estate and one of the top 1% of Prudential agents nationwide. Diane is a Past President Taos County Association of Realtors.

Diane has worked to raise funds for the Taos High School Scholarship Fund for almost 15 years. She supports CAV, Shared Table, Taos Land Trust, Taos Center for the Arts, Habitat for Humanity, Dreamtree, and many of the local non-profits.

Diane says, "I believe it’s important to give locally. Taos is one of the poorest counties in one of the poorest states in U.S. I feel I’m blessed to be able to live and work and actually make a living in Taos, and I’m thankful that I’m able to give back."

She believes the Holy Cross Hospital Foundation is an exciting organization. As she says, "We look forward to accomplishing great things for the hospital and the community."
